Mezzanine Floors
BLUA Building Solutions designs and delivers customized mezzanine floors for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), allowing clients to maximize space and functionality without increasing the building’s footprint. These intermediate floors are ideal for offices, storage, and operational areas, providing strong, durable, and cost-effective space utilization solutions.
Our mezzanine floors can be provided in either complete or partial areas, depending on the load requirements and purpose of use. Each structure is engineered for high load-bearing capacity, precision alignment, and long-term performance.
Mezzanine floors consist of Chequered Plates or Galvanized Decking Sheets, supported by joists connected to main mezzanine beams.
Main Beams: Run across the width of the building and are placed under the main rafters for support.
Joists: Run parallel to the building’s length, with their top flanges fitting just below the top flange of the mezzanine beams.
Slab: A reinforced concrete slab (not supplied by BLUA) is cast over the decking sheet for enhanced strength and stability.
This combination of steel and concrete creates a strong, rigid, and safe platform that seamlessly integrates within the PEB structure.
